Company Coordinators- 2021/2022 Program Year
Overview​

The Company Coordinator is an individual dedicated to the professional and educational philosophies of ASCM and represents the educational and certification needs of the employees within his or her company.

Company Coordinators act as liaisons between the Chapter Board of Directors and fellow employees at their companies.  They disseminate meeting information, coordinate registration for programs and certification, make membership applications available, and helo their organization derive maximum beneift from its ASCM activities.

Time Requirement

The program is voluntary and time requirements will vary depending on the size of your organization.  Most Company Coordinators probably invest about one hour per month coordinating and dispersing information within their organization.​

Qualifications
  • ASCM Membership in good standing with ASCM and the Savannah Chapter

  • Attend at least two Chapter Personal Development Meetings (PDMs) each fiscal year

  • Opt in to receive ASCM emails and correspondence

Duties

A Company Coordinator promotes ASCM within their own company by:

  • Defining the benefits of ASCM membership and be a key source of information regarding ASCM within your organization

  • Explaining the ASCM certification programs and how achieving CPIM, CLTD or CSCP certification is both professionally and personally rewarding

  • Circulating the monthly Professional Development Program (PDMs) announcements

  • Promote and distribute newsletters, seminar brochures, and other ASCM literature to interested parties and key personnel

  • Posting schedules of ASCM Savannah seminars and review courses and assisting with the registration process with your company

  • Provide feedback to the Board of Directors regarding chapter performance, areas of improvement, and your company's educational needs 

  • Volunteer support (based on individual's time and availability) to represent the Chapter at chapter sponsored events

Incentive Program for Company Coordinators

How to earn points:

  • Earn 1 point for each attendee (from your company) to Chapter PDMs.

  • Points can be accumulated for up to two fiscal years (July 1-June 30).

  • Once you have achieved 10 points you will get a gift certificate for $25

  • Points keep accruing until a total of 25 points is reached.  Once you have acheived 25 points, you will receive a gift certificate for $50.

  • Once a total of 25 points is reached, the count resets to start working toward another 10 point goal, etc.

 

10 points=$25 gift certificate

25 points=$50 gift certificate

 

Gift certificates vary, will include but not limited to Gas cards, AMEX gift cards, restaurants, and movie theater tickets.  Additional suggestions are always welcome.
